Well those who dislike Windows 8 are running out of options. Windows Xp support has ended, Xindows Vista support is well into its countdown, and now Windows 7 has started its countdown. The author gives a pretty good description of the implications with an emphasis on the effects on businesses.
Hopefully Windows 10 will make the what to do question easier to answer for most users.
